Sacramental Preparation Ministry
Marriage Preparation
In preparation for your Marriage Sacrament an important first step is to arrange a meeting with the Parish Pastor at least a year in advance of your planned nuptials. Contact the Parish Office to arrange an appointment. You will also need to complete a Marriage Preparation Course.

Baptismal Preparation
Baptisms are always an exciting time! If you would like your child to be baptised and if they are under 7 years old, you can pick up a baptismal package from the Parish office or at the Church. After you fill out the forms, bring them into the Parish office and we will schedule an appointment with Father. At that time, you can book a date. We have baptisms once a month at set dates. If Baptism is for you or for a child who is over 7, please contact Denise at the Parish office and she will be able to assist you.
First Communion and First Reconciliation Preparation
These sacraments occur in Grade 2. The Catholic schools and the Parish work together to help with formation and the sacraments. Parent meetings will be scheduled in the Fall of this year and our First Reconciliations will be held in March and First Communions will be held in May 2025. If your child is not attending a Catholic school but would like to receive First Reconciliation and First Communion, please call the Parish office and speak to Denise.
Confirmation Preparation
Confirmation normally occurs in Grade 7. The schools and Parish work together to help with formation and the sacrament. Parent meetings will be scheduled for the fall and this year, our confirmations will be in February 2025. A retreat for the candidates will take place at the Parish with a practice for the blessed day. If your child is not attending a Catholic school but would like to be confirmed, please call the parish office and speak to Denise.
